By submitting your story, advice, or personal insights (“Submission”) to Her Monologue via our submission form, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions:

1. License to Use Submissions

By submitting your content, you grant Her Monologue a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, edit, modify, publish, distribute, and display your Submission across all platforms, including but not limited to:

- Social media (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, etc.)

- Our website and blog

- Published works, such as books or e-books

- Marketing materials or newsletters

We reserve the right to edit your Submission for clarity, length, or appropriateness, without altering the core meaning of your content.

2. Attribution and Anonymity

Your Submission may be published with or without credit to you. If you prefer your Submission to remain anonymous, please indicate so at the time of submission. Otherwise, we may use your first name or an alias in connection with the content you’ve shared.

3. Originality and Ownership

By submitting content, you confirm that:

- The Submission is your own original work, and you have full rights to share it.

- The content does not infringe on any third-party rights, including intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.

- The Submission has not been published elsewhere, unless otherwise disclosed.

You retain the rights to your content, but by submitting, you give Her Monologue the license to use it as outlined above.

4. Respectful Content

We encourage constructive, thoughtful, and respectful submissions. Her Monologue reserves the right to reject or remove any content that:

- Contains offensive, harmful, or inappropriate language

- Promotes acts of violence

- Is defamatory, slanderous, or violates the privacy of others

5. No Compensation

Submissions are provided on a voluntary basis. You will not receive any compensation, payment, or royalties for your Submission, regardless of how it is used by Her Monologue.

6. Consent to Publish

By submitting your content, you agree that Her Monologue may use and publish your Submission, in whole or in part, without prior approval or notice to you, in any format we choose (social media, website, books, etc.). You acknowledge that you have no further claims, including for compensation or attribution, beyond these stated Terms.

7. Disclaimer

While Her Monologue strives to create a positive and inclusive environment, we cannot guarantee that every Submission will be published or shared. The decision to publish or share Submissions is at our sole discretion.

8. Removal of Content

You may request the removal of your Submission from our platforms at any time by contacting us at hello@hermonologue.com. However, once published in a permanent medium (e.g., a book), we may not be able to remove your Submission.

9. Liability

You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for the content of your Submission. Her Monologue is not liable for any claims arising from the publication of your Submission, including but not limited to third-party claims of intellectual property infringement or defamation.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
